Kashiv Pharma, LLC. is an emerging pharmaceutical research and drug delivery company focused on developing innovative technologies, improved medicines and life cycle management products. Kashiv also offers contract research and development services to pharmaceutical clients in need of formulation and analytical development expertise and/or clinical supply manufacture.


The Senior Accountant applies principles of accounting to analyze and report past and present financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the preparation and integrity of the General Ledger, including account analyses, account reconciliation, review of controls governing the data gathering process.
  • Responsible for the timely completion and reconciliation of the monthly closing process and yearly financial closing. Update Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statements for the monthly financial closing cycle
  • Prepares and analyzes financial statements on a monthly basis, and reports on variances.
  • Responsible for payroll import and reviews the tabulation, monitoring and distribution of payroll costs to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with review of calculation and analysis of prepaid expenses, accrued expenses and employee benefits
  • Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries.
  • Coordinate requests with internal and external auditors
  • Prepares and assists in the preparation of tax and information returns.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely completion of the monthly census and utilization statistics.
  • Prepares and inputs standard journal entries
  • Support the Accounts Payable function.
  • Conduct bank deposits and related activities for funds received as may be needed.
  • Assist in year-end physical inventory, and with financial and 401(k) audits.
  • Reviews and recommends modifications to the accounting systems and procedures.
  • Performs other functions as required or assigned
  • Complies with all company policies and standards




  • BS. in Accounting or Finance
  • Actively earned or working toward a CPA
  • 4-6 years of accounting experience required, preferably both in public and private organizations
  • Previous accounting experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment


Special Skills:

  • Experience with JD Edwards ERP accounting system.
  • Strong MS Excel skills required
  • Be able to work independently, and organize and prioritize tasks with limited supervision
  • Possess superior communication skill and interface with multiple levels across the company.
  • Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and commitment to the company’s growth.
