Located in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Kashiv Pharma is an emerging pharmaceutical research and drug delivery company focused on developing innovative technology platforms and novel drugs with clinical differentiation and a compelling value proposition for patients, physicians, and payers. We have developed a portfolio of proprietary drug delivery technologies to improve the efficacy, safety, compliance, and dosage of low bioavailability drugs where absorption could be limited due to solubility, permeability, and stability problems. Our approach is to understand market needs and develop innovative medicines to improve health outcomes. The pipeline consists of novel drug formulations for preventing drug abuse or misuse, and in improving treatments for severe debilitating diseases. We plan to commercialize our products through licensing, or partnering, or through the creation of our specialized internal commercialization infrastructure.


Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to –


  • Develops, qualifies and validates analytical methods for physicochemical and solid state properties of drug product and drug substances.
  • Analytical methodologies may include, but are not limited to, FTIR, Raman, XRD, DSC, TGA, Sorption Analyzer, Laser Diffraction, DLS, and dissolution methodology.
  • Understands and conducts laboratory experiments utilizing established internal and published procedures.
  • Performs release and stability testing for drug substance and drug product utilizing necessary characterization techniques with minimal supervision.
  • Performs relevant pre-formulation testing to aid process development, formulation development and analytical development.
  • Reports test results on an ongoing basis within and outside group and department, and interact collaboratively on design of studies.
  • Applies all current cGMP, and safety requirements. Maintains documentation and laboratory equipment in accord with corporate and departmental SOPs.
  • Performs other functions as required or assigned
  • Complies with all company policies and standard


  • Master’s degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 2 years of experience, or a PhD.
